How do I get back in good graces with my wife?

So, my wife is always complaining about the smell coming out of the bathroom when I have to release a chocolate hostage. Well tonight I was in the shower and I felt the 'urge' come over me and I was looking at the shower drain and reasoned that it all goes into the same pipe no matter if it's the commode or shower so I turned around, bent over and laid some brown cable right over the drain. Well it soon became obvious that that wasn't going to work cause it stopped up the drain and the tub was beginning to fill up with brown water so I hopped out and went to look for some kind of stick to break it up with and maybe stuff the poo down the drain and then my wife came in and saw the mess and she went ape-s**t crazy! She was yelling and fussing and then she started to cry and told me I was just a cave man and she should have never married me and stormed out of the house to spend the night with her sister. Could y'all please give me some suggestions on how to calm her down (and how to clean this mess?)
