Is this a fair way to treat your son?

ya, he shouldn't be freaking out at you because "he's going through a divorce", it happened 5 years ago. Anyways, do you have a job? If not, get one and try to move out as soon as possible. Or get a dorm next semester, if your dad is paying for your school and holds that hostage as a way for you to stay home then look into getting some school loans for yourself because they are low interest and do not need to be paid back until after you graduate. Even though you live under his roof you are still an adult, it is possible someday that HE may be living under YOUR roof when he's elderly. I bet he would expect you to still treat him with respect.
