Should I get a sunless tan to even out my tan lines?

I have a free coupon for Sunless Tanning by livesunless. I used to be very fair and recently decided to get a tan, which I somewhat regret now. I used sunscreen and got burned in certain areas, but what will turn into tan will be very uneven. What should I do? 10 points, thanks in advance. :)
